YOAC has a sound forum for youth who are interested in volunteerism. When two international volunteers came Nepal and worked for YOAC in 2006, and when YOAC coordinated 'Nepal Youth Social Forum (NYSF-2006)', a huge mass of volunteers was generated which ultimately led to the establishment of volunteer group namely 'Friends of YOAC'. No doubt, there were numbers of active volunteers in YOAC before the establishment of 'Friends of YOAC', but still this informal group gave a great impetus in the volunteerism of our active, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.
Youth Action Nepal also open opportunities for the International volunteer to work with in the organization to explore and create optional ideas for young people of Nepal. We had International volunteer from Israel and USA this year. Basically we offer short term ranging from 3 to 6 months of Volunteer opportunities for International Young people.

We accommodate student and other social practicners observation of volunteer coordinators and Officers. We also need special recommendations to let make a place for the students from the colleges. Presently, 3 students from K and K College, Kathmandu are doing there 6 months intern in YOAC.
What Intern Student say....

It gives me an immense pleasure to be a part of Youth Action Nepal. As a trainee, I have found that YOAC can be a good platform to boost up one’s creativity. Apart from various learning I also got to take part in different programs which has surely been a great experience. Working in a youth friendly environment has helped me to develop a self confidence. One of the important things which I’ve learnt while working in YOAC is that, it is you, who can create an opportunity for yourself. Overall, YOAC enhances opportunities for youth to apply oneself in developing their skills.
